Police received a call just before 8:30 p.m. requesting medical assistance at William E. Waters Middle School.

According to the caller, a teenager fell through the roof of the school building and landed on the gymnasium floor. Police tell 13NewsNow people with the teen carried him out of the school, and called 911. Minutes of receiving that call, a burglar alarm went off at the school.

Medics took him to Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters.
