Specifications: Thermalized curb mounting skylights shall be factory assembled Plasteco Model 197 as manufactured by Plasteco, Inc. Houston, Tx (800-231-6117; Fax 713-453-8372). Inner (.072" thick) and outer frame (.050" thick) shall be mill finish 6063-T5 extruded aluminum. Inner frame shall have a continuous urethane thermal break. Inner frame shall have a continuous foam gasket and self adjusting counterflashing to reduce infiltration (or exfiltration) of air and wind blown water from entering the interior between the inner frame and curb. Outer dome shall be (clear, white translucent or bronze) acrylic to support a uniform 40psf load. Inner dome shall be (clear or white translucent) acrylic.

Add alternate: Fall protection as required by OSHA Regulation 1926.501 ÒDuty to have fall protectionÓ shall be provided by Model A Fallguardª Skylight Screens. Fallguardª Skylight Screens shall be shipped separately and installed prior to the installation of the skylight.
Add Alternate: Plasteco Hail Stone Screens meet the Factory Mutual recommendations for hail screens. The hail screens must resist impact of a 2" in diameter hail stone having an impact energy of 22 ft. lbs. Specifications: Hail stone screen shall consist of a 1" x 1" x .062 galvanized welded wire mesh overlaid on the FallGuardª Skylight Screen.
