The Model A-SM1 FallGuard™ Skylight Screens were developed in response to OSHA Regulation 29CFR 910.23 (e)(8) NIOSH Alert 90-100. The Alert requested assistance in “Preventing worker deaths and injuries from falls through skylights and roof openings.”

FallGuard™ Skylight Screens provide the cost-effective, easy to install prevention from falls through acrylic dome skylights.

The Model A-SM1 FallGuard™ Skylight Screens for acrylic dome skylights are fastened to the retaining frame of the skylight being retrofitted with galvanized steel hex head self-drilling screws. Installation on a typical 4' x 8' skylight by a two man crew should be less than ten minutes (20 man minutes).
