Specifications:
Dome skylights shall be
factory assembled Model 208 (or 209 double dome) as manufactured
by Plasteco, Inc. It shall consist of a Model 100 (or 101 double
dome) skylight mounted on a 9” high insulated double wall aluminum
curb. The insulation shall be 1-1/2” thick rigid foam. Dome shall
be formed of (clear, white translucent or bronze) acrylic to support
a uniform 40 psf load. (For Model 209, add: Inner dome shall be
formed of (clear or white translucent) acrylic.)
Add Alternate:
Fall protection as required by OSHA Regulation 1926.501 “Duty to
have fall protection” shall be provided by FallGuard
Skylight Screens.
These shall be shipped separately and installed prior to the installation
of the skylight.
Add Alternate:
Plasteco Hail Stone Screens meet the Factory Mutual recommendations
for hail screens. The hail screens must resist impact of a 2” diameter
hail stone having an impact energy of 22 ft. lbs.
Specifications:
Hail stone screen shall consist of a 1” by 1” x .062 galvanized
welded wire mesh overlaid on the FallGuard
Skylight Screen.
